Subject: Mando pop song title? 28th September 2013, 05:23
I can't read Mandarin. ^^' There are songs I really like out there but I'm having trouble figuring out what the song title is. So I thought that I may get help here finding out:
1. which characters are part of the song's title 2. which characters are part of the artist's name 3. which characters are part of the album's title (if there is one) optional: (4.) perhaps what the romanization of the titles/names are [if it's not already stated somewhere]
Also 1. I'll edit this post whenever I need to figure out what the song titles are. 2. I'll Blue mark and add the meaning of the characters once those get figured out.
Thank you for reading~ (SORRY IF NOT ALL OF THESE ARE IN MANDARIN!)

I apologise if I translate it wrongly (I learn the basic Mandarin, but these are in Taiwanese/olden Mandarin form)
1. Artist: 蔡依林 (Jolin Tsai) Song Title: 旅程 (Journey) I don't think it's from an album. It's sang for an OST/soundtrack as seen from (施華洛世奇時尚音樂之旅主題曲) The last 3 characters 主題曲 means OST/soundtrack. Romanization/Pinyin of the entire thing goes: Cai Yi Lin (Jolin Tsai) - Shi Hua Lu Shi Qi Shi Shang Yin Yue Zhi Lu Zhu Ti Qu ; Lu Cheng (Journey)
2. Artist: Della丁噹 Song Title: 手掌心 Once again, this is sang for an OST/soundtrack for drama/movie (蘭陵王) The last 3 characters '片尾曲' indicates that it's the closing OST of the drama/movie, I think lol. Romanization/Pinyin of the entire thing goes: Della Ding Dang [Shou Zhang Xin] MV Guan Fang Ban - Zhong Shi Gu Zhuang Da Xi [Lan Ling Wang] Pian Wei Qu

Thank you! Well it's a good thing I put down Mandopop instead of Chinese. I had a feeling there was a difference between how the language is in China and other places. It's probably Taiwanese form because whenever I find new Mandopop songs it's almost always by a Taiwanese singer.

No problem~ Hmm, I think they're all Mandarin actually. Chinese is a race XD while Mandarin is the language. It's just that some places still use the traditional way of writing the words, so you'll realise that they have a lot more strokes than the basic ones which we typically use in Singapore. :) Mandarin's quite a difficult language to pick up!
