mixing wise was good..altho the VC wasn't good so usually i would just lower the original mp3 and maybe add in a VC to see how it sounds even if it means the coverists voice is loud as heck. LOL.

Honesty is something a lot of comments lack nowadays XD we get so caught up in sugar coating everything to put up a good image we don't criticize constructively and honestly like so many people want. I think that's why people love finding critics... then again there's those who only want to get critiqued to hear good things -cough- me -cough- (I'm sensitive T.T)

But honesty is a good thing to have so don't beat yourself up for it :D! I need to work on my critiquing T.T

well im not that great at it either. i just try to point out things i hear/see. like energy, power and stuff. as for tone & pitch..well sometimes i can and sometimes i cant...depends.. LOL.

i think as long as you give 'em both..what they did good at and what they need to improve on, they will accept it. i give u a beating but after that beating i give u a cookie. LOL.
