It's an unspoken rule - or rather suggestion - that any collab where all parts are turned in be given a status report if it takes more than few days or a week for the release. This is to prevent any unnecessary takeovers if the OP is genuinely working on the collab (at least 50% of the audio/video is complete by the time a mod comes to ask the status). Once you get past the 2-3 week mark and Skye still hasn't posted to give a life back, we can only assume that it's not being worked on if the OP doesn't post anything or change the title from [CLOSED] to [COMPLETED]. If we assume this, then a takeover ensues and the Initiator's part gets replaced.

Yes Shibo, it's not in our guidelines but updating collab topics must be as often as possible. Only this way we can have a sense of how's running the project. Today most initiators don't do that, we try to explain this is important for us to know about the run^^
