NOTE: Links say it's a BL, but it's not. Nothing even happens. No kissing or bad scenes. Nothing...
Ahem. I'm really..confused and just...yeah on this. To the people who don't understand Chinese, this is basically saying there's a new Chinese anime, but it looks too Japanese. Also the author worked in Japan, which is why it probably looks very Japanese. If you can read Chinese, please ignore my comment on the vid. in Chinese. It makes no sense, I know.
I just wanna discuss this~ RIGHT. This looks too Japanese. So why did the Japanese copy off Chinese culture, claim it as theirs and everybody looks at something Chinese and goes: "That's Japanese!" Now China creates an anime, and everyone's like: "This Japanese!!! Stupid Chinese copycats with no ideas of their own! " THE HELL.
Ahem. I do agree with the fact that it does look...Japanese. But then they copied everything we do, and who knows. Manga/anime might very well have come from China. They just changed it a little and spread it accross the world very quickly, so everybody thinks it's theirs. At the same time, I think China should create something very special of their own...like modern Chinese art. I remember these really good classics (such as hu lu wa (IDK ow to translate lantern doll? Hu lu doll?) and xi you ji (journey to the west) didn't look "japanese" at all. And I loved them as a child.
So...am I just being a whole hypocrite here? I don't even know what I'm on about. I don't even know what the discuss. I just wanted to...see your views I guess.
Discuss please~ And ignore how idiotic I'm being.

Personally I don't see what the big deal is. If the show is good does it really matter what country it came from? I know that a lot of country's other than Japan have "Anime Style" shows like how Teen Titans and Avatar The Last Airbender came from America or how Winx club came from Italy. It's just a style of drawing and it doesn't belong to just one country. Like lets say for instance Disney movies like Mulan or Cinderella were originally made for an American audience but people from all different country's around the would have their own versions of the movies. I'm not sure if I make sense at all but more or less what I'm saying is that I don't get why people make a big deal over they style of drawing in a cartoon. :/

@ Kitty: Polemon What's that? Pokemon? Lol I'm glad this isn't sent to trash for being...racist or whatever xD
As much as I agree with Ginger...I just meant, that like nobody really cares about American movies looking like they come from Japan, but nobody really cares, yet when it comes to China doing something that looks little like Japanese, everybody complains. And I'm really annoyed with how everybody thinks Chinese things are Japanese, just becasue they copied...

In this day and age, where things have been spread and influenced and mixed in, out, over, under everything and anything imaginable - there is no hardly any 'individual' style anymore. But, as always - wherever something got popular, is where/what people see as the original concept. So, this drawing/animation style started/got popular in Japan then someone is did something similar in China - people are jealous, they do not want to share what they think is theirs. If this anime was released in Japan first, do you think there'd be a problem?

I wouldn't really say "copy". It's more like inspired or influenced. Art is changing and developing different styles all the time and some people are so inspired and influenced by previous styles of art that their inventions would look very similar to them.
People, who thinks mangas or stuff like that were just "copied" from certain person or country, are just not very appreciative of changing/developing art, so just ignore what they're saying. They're just in denial. Unless it literally copied every single detail from the original, then that is just called Plagiarism.
Art is art. Japanese or Chinese or not, it's still art. Art can be made everywhere. Since the countries all over the world now has more connection to each other, different kinds of ideas are shared and inspired and that's how people start mixing stuff and invent something from those different ideas.
It's like that Spaghetti thing when some people were saying it was originally from the Chinese. Well, the noodles may have originally came from China but the whole Spaghetti product wasn't really invented by the Chinese. (Tomato is one of the ingredients and I don't think tomato was originally from China, was it?) The Italians just used noodles and mixed it with other different things like tomato and turned them into Spaghetti.
Sorry if the Spaghetti thing was a bad example...I hope people get what I'm trying to say there? ?.?
