*Written in Saki’s POV.

“Saki!” a male voice shouted as I turned my back to reveal my boyfriend, Keito Okamoto, the resident English boy of Seraph International Academy.

“Oh hey” I said as I received a hug from him. “So what do you wanna do on the weekends?” That’s Keito’s usual question to me, it is Friday after all.

“Hm, maybe we could go to the sale that I heard about in Tsumori Chisato.” I answered as we headed towards the building exit. “Tsumori Chisato, the designer from Issey Miyake?” Keito asked as I nodded.
We were about to head to the gate when a laugh reached my ears. That laugh, sounds like a devil’s laugh to me. It was the leader of the WORST clique in the Academy. It was Sugaya Risako and the members of the Anubis Coterie. They’re the girls who should’ve been expelled by now if it wasn’t for their parents.

“Well, Well, Well. If it isn’t the forgiving boyfriend of mine.” Risako came near the both of us with her followers following her. “How are you Keito? We haven’t talked in a while” Risako pushed me off Keito and put her arms around his neck.
NO, I wasn’t JEALOUS, I’m not ANGRY either. Besides, I know that Keito loves me and not HER.!
“Yeah, and I intend to not speak to you. Now if you excuse us, me & Saki have to go now” Keito grabbed Risako’s arms and put them back to her sides where they belong.

“Sure go ahead. Leave me for her” Risako’s really getting in to my nerves now. I stopped in my tracks and looked back at her with the intention of slapping her right then and there. Keito stopped me before I could even take a step back at where Risako. “Don’t Saki, or you’ll be just as she is” Keito whispered in my ear as he pulled me out the school.
“Why did you do that?!” I screamed pulling my wrist out of his grip. “I don’t want you to get into trouble with them. Do you know what kind of person Risako is?!” Keito scolded at me “Of course I do. She’s a good for nothing girl and she cannot do anything to hurt me, right?” I asked as I heard him chuckle.

“No, do you know why I broke-up with her?” Keito asked at me as I shook my head “I broke up with her because she was abusive. Do you want me to define abusive? She used me Saki; she used me like I was her toy or something. And those followers of hers now, they can hurt you if she says so. There are 5 of them that follow her Saki; I don’t ever want you to get hurt.” Keito explained as I looked at him. He never opened up to me like that before…

“Whatever, let’s get you home” Keito said as he pulled me close to him as we walked home.
“Take care okay?” Keito placed a kiss on my forehead before turning his back on me. “I love you” I said as he looked back to me “I love you too” he walked back to his house on his own. I went into my house and greeted my parents with a bow before going up to my room to hear my cellie ringing. It’s a message from Oka-kun :3 :

‘Hey Saki~ See you tomorrow. I can’t wait for the day to end right now.
I love you”

“Aww, How sweet of him” I said as I looked at my closet and walked up to it, like a soldier about to enter the battle field. I let out a small sigh and smiled. “Now, what to wear for tomorrow?” I opened up my wardrobe and started to pick an outfit that I would wear tomorrow.
And after a few minutes, I was able to pick a black top that I paired off with a skirt, and heels. “Hey Saki” a familiar voice said at my door, it was my best friend: Daiki Arioka.

“Oh Hey Dai-chan” I said as he came into my room and sat on my computer table “So, what have you been up to?” Daiki asked me with his smile “Me & Keito are going shopping tomorrow. Oh and Risako once again tried to ruin my day. Heck, she did” I sat down on my table facing him as he chuckled at me.

“You know how much Risako likes torturing people” Daiki told me as I looked up at him “Why?” He aroused my curiosity; I just had to ask. “Well, Risako is a child from a broken family. I guess growing up with her alcoholic mom moulded her into becoming like that” Daiki responded as I blinked my eyes thrice at him “What do you mean? Isn’t she from a rich family?” I asked at Daiki who nodded “She was adopted lately. Remember her case with one of the girls in the younger years?” Daiki asked me in which I responded with a nod “During that time, she was newly adopted. And her parents are the ones that funded the renovation of the school. That’s why she was able to get out of it without any sanctions at all” Daiki explained to me as we changed the topic to a lighter topic.

The day ended fast, next thing I knew I was in Tsumori Chisato with my boyfriend randomly picking clothes.
“Hey um, Keito” I asked at he took his eyes off the cloth displays and turned his attention to me “Yes?” he calmly responded as I looked at him.

“What pushed you too fall in love with Risako?” I awkwardly asked him as he let out a soft chuckle “Well, when I entered Seraph. I didn’t know anything about the Anubis Coterie until after she became my girlfriend. She looked so kind and she was a good actress too. She managed to hide the Coterie from me for a long while.” Keito responded to me “Keito, yesterday you told me that she was using you. Why?” I asked him again as he looked at me with a smile and sad eyes, as if he doesn’t want to tell you anything.

“Remember that boy that Risako is always with?” Keito asked me as I recalled the guys face “Casey Anderson?” I asked as Keito nodded “Yeah, Anderson. Risako had a thing for him and used me to get him jealous and when I found out that she already had Casey. I broke-up with her” Keito said as I nodded and we went on with our shopping.
As we were on our way to have lunch, I saw Daiki with Risako; to be true, it really hurt me. I love Daiki more than I love Keito… But Keito did so much for me, I can’t just hurt him.

~With Risako & Daiki~ -Risako’s POV-

“What are we doing here?” Daiki asked as I took a sip of my drink and crossed my arms “Wanna know why? Look at the window.” I told him as he took a peak and saw Saki with Keito. Daiki was aware that Saki saw us; it made him feel so uncomfortable.

“You framed me up! You knew that they would be here!” he shouted at me and I just chuckled. “Daiki, I know that you like her. And I know that she likes you too. Daiki, I can help you with her” I said as he looked at me. “What? Why?” he asked me “You like Saki, and Saki likes you back. I like Keito and I want him back. Get it?” I looked at him “Yeah, but I don’t wanna hurt her” Daiki said returning to his seat.

“You won’t have too. Leave the hurting part to me. And then we’ll both be happy. Deal?” I offered him my hand and he shook it.

~Back to Saki and her POV~

Me & Keito finished our day and he walked me home. The picture of Risako with Daiki never left my mind.
“Hey Keito thanks for the hat” I said as I gave him a kiss on the cheek “No problem Saki.” He said “I hope that’s what you wear at the prom” he continued as I blushed.

“Of course, I will” I said as I opened the door to my house and he left.

No. There is no way that Daiki is in love with that Devil. Daiki doesn’t like her. But why would he be with her?
“ARGHH!” I plopped down on my bed and stared at the ceiling unaware that I was being watched at my window.
“You know, you could always talk to me if something is bugging you” I looked at the window and saw Daiki.
He got off the window and sat on my computer chair then rolled over to me as I never took my eyes off the ceiling the moment that I returned to look at it.

“What’s wrong Saki?” he asked, I tried to ignore him but the idea of ignoring him was completely out of the question.
“I saw you with Risako today. Why were you with her?” I asked being aware that I did it awkwardly. “I um, well. We had a talk” Daiki was starting to stutter. I think he’s lying.

“Talked about what?” I sat up my bed and crossed my arms as I waited for a reply. “You told me that she ruined your day, I confronted her. And well, I just talked to her. She seems like a nice person once you get to know her Saki”.
Ok, maybe my best friend wasn’t lying at all. But there’s still something fishy about things. Why would Risako be alone in a café with Daiki? And speaking of which, that’s the first time I ever saw her in modest clothing. SOMETHING is really fishy now, that I can tell.

~Monday~

“Settle down class” was the teacher’s instruction to us. “As everyone knows, the prom is on Saturday. And I’m sure that all of you are aware of the theme. And mind you Ms. Sugaya. The theme isn’t what you think it is” Our teacher was pertaining to Risako who gave out a chuckle “Yeah, Yeah. Whatever” Risako crossed her arms and legs as the teacher coughed.

“The theme is Fantasy. I want all of you to wear something fantasy related, am I clear?” we all nodded in response as the bell rang.

“So what’re you going to wear Daiki?” I looked at him as he never took his eyes of the costume clear book that I gave him.

“Not sure, you?” he asked back “Not sure either” I proudly replied as Daiki chuckled
Then, there goes that laugh again…. Arggh, why do I keep hearing that laugh?!

“Well if it isn’t the two love birds.” Risako stopped in front of us with her Coterie. “I hope you don’t go to the prom wearing something Swan Lake related. That’s what I’m going as” she informed us as I let out a chuckle of my own.

“Did I ask? And for your information, we plan to go as something more mature” I pulled Daiki pass them as they looked at us.

~Risako’s POV~

“I hope your black swan outfit is done Risako.” One of my Coterie members: Ai exclaimed as Daiki looked back at us. I gave him a wink that he simply ignored.

“Oh it’s done Ai, it’s been done for quite a while now. I plan to use both though. It would be a shame if Odette doesn’t make her appearance” I chuckled at my idea.

“Let it go Risako, there is no way your plan will work on Okamoto Keito” another one of my members: Aru pointed out.
“Oh Aru, don’t you have faith in me? I can do this” I responded as the two shadows that we were watching exited the building.

~Saki’s POV~
“Heck! What’s her problem?!” I asked as I let go of Daiki’s arm. “I already told you why she’s like that right must I repeat myself Saki?” Daiki responded at me. It wasn’t usually like him to do that, heck. I guess Risako ruined both our days.

+Saki’s house+

“Oh darling” my mom said approaching her with a dress in hand. “Mom what’s that?” I asked scanning the tutu in front of me “Daiki sent it over, here’s the card. I didn’t open it though; it might be something private” my mom said before handing me the card ang hanging the tutu on the nearby chair before heading to the kitchen.
Curious, I flipped open the card that Daiki had sent in along with the gown. It reads:

Saki, I hope you like the costume I sent you.
I hope that you’re gonna use it to the prom. Well, Uhm. That’s all.
Until then,
Daiki Arioka

“Awww, how sweet of him” I squealed before grabbing the costume and went to my room to fit it. Luckily, Daiki also put in a headdress along with the costume.

“Well, look who looks great” Daiki said from my window as I giggled. “Thank you Daiki.” I responded as he took out his own costume.

“See we match” Daiki boasted which made me laugh. This reminded me about Keito’s costume, I guess that will have to be a surprise for me.

~Risako’s POV~

+Risako’s Mansion+

“I can’t wait to wear this and this” I laughed staring at my Odile outfit and my Odette outfit that was the same with Saki’s outfit.

“Geez Risako, quit it okay? There is no way Keito will take you as Saki. Look at your hair! Her hair is brown and way longer than yours” Aru said as I chuckled.

“Shut up Aru. Rheg” I called out as my assistant Rheg came in a box that she handed to me. “That’s all Rheg. You may retire for the day” I said as I pulled a brown wig similar to Saki’s hair out of the box which shocked the two girls in front of me.

“Well? Saki enough for ya?” I asked them as they nodded in response.

‘You’ll see Keito Okamoto. I’ll get you back, even if it takes me all night’

~Prom night~

+Still Risako’s POV+

“When that clock strikes 12, we start. Did you bring my Odette costume?” I asked Reina who nodded in response. “The CD did you bring it?” Aru showed me the disk that she took out of her purse.

“Alright, we meet at the 2nd floor at 11.30” Reina said as I went on to find Daiki who was alone at a nearby pond which was located outside the ballroom.

“It’s 9 what’re you waiting for? Shall we dance my dear prince?” I asked as Daiki looked up at me with a stern face. “Risako, we shouldn’t be doing this to Saki. This will hurt her very much” Daiki told me as I whined at him. “Daiki, you’re in love with Saki, I offered to help you. You accepted the offer, provided I told you that you needed to help me get my Keito back!” I shouted at him as he stood up.

“Fine. Let’s just get this over with!” Daiki said pulling me to the ball room where I saw Saki arrive with his prince Derek.

+Sakis POV+

“I gotta find Daiki. Meet me at the refreshment table?” I told Keito who nodded in response.
I waltzed over to the dance floor looking for Daiki in the directions. I found him… with her. I had enough, so I had to run over to Keito.

“Have you seen Daiki already?” Keito asked handing me punch which I gladly accepted “Daiki’s with Risako” Keito spit out the contents of his mouth. “With Risako?! Are you serious Saki?” Keito asked me as I silently nodded. “Hey what’s wrong? Is it about my reaction? I’m sorry” Keito stepped in front of me and hugged me. “Keito, it’s not about that, it’s just that… Risako, she’s..” I said as Keito hugged me tighter. “ Shush, I know.. I know.. We’ll talk to Daiki okay?” Keito said letting go of me as I smiled.

“Okay” I responded as Keito guided me to the dance floor.

+Risako’s POV+

“Aru. 11.30, Reina is already up there” I said as we went up to the second floor. “Hey you two” Reina said as we smiled at her.

“Ready?” I asked as she pulled out my Odette outfit. As I grabbed it am and changed to it.
After I changed and put on the wig, we went down to the 1st floor where Aru handed the CD to the DJ who played it with no questions.

+Saki’s POV+

‘That’s the.. Symphony of the black swan..’

I put my attention back to Keito who was dancing with me. “Keito, I need to go to the restroom. Excuse me” I said as I rushed to the rest room.

~Rest Room~

“Why would they be playing that song?” I asked myself as I looked into the mirror. “Maybe we could answer that for you Saki” I turned my attention to the door and saw the Anubis Coterie with Risako in the same outfit as mine.
“What are you doing here?!” I shouted at her as she laughed “Oh Saki, Saki, Saki. You don’t get it do you?” Risako asked as Reina & Ai held me by the arms.

“Let go off me!” I shouted as I tried my best to get away, but it was no use. They both had a good grip on me. “This is all a part of my little scheme to get Keito back” Risako said as she walked near me “What? Don’t you have Casey already?! And why is my dress the same as yours?!” I asked her.

“You really don’t get it do you? Casey and I aren’t together anymore. And plus, I want my Keito back. And why is my dress the same as yours? Simple, it came from me” she responded as I tried to get near her once more. “But Daiki..” I said as she chuckled “Daiki wrote the dedication? I told him too. This is all part of the plan” she said. But as soon as I could think of a comeback, I was knocked out.

+Risako’s POV+

“Game time. I got Keito to trick” I said as I exited the room and left my girls with Saki.
I went outside and saw Daiki waiting for me, I held out Saki’s phone that I took from her purse and sent a text message to Keito.

“What did you tell him?” Daiki asked as we walked to the garden where we’ll be expecting Keito.
“I told him to meet me by the pond bridge” I responded as I grabbed Daiki’s arm and dragged him to the pond bridge.
“Hey what’re you doing?!” he asked as I put my arms around his neck and from the corner of my eye, I saw Keito approaching. “You’ll see, just play along okay?” I said as I kissed him.

+Keito’s POV+

I received a text from Saki saying that she wants to meet me by the bridge outside. So I rushed outside to meet her by the pond bridge.

As I was walking to the bridge, I saw 2 figures together. The first one I saw was Daiki, then the second one.. Saki..
My eyes widened as I saw their heads a few meters from each other, my hunch wasn’t wrong.. They kissed..

‘No, can’t be!’

I ran back inside with that picture still in my head… It can’t be.. No Way..

+Saki’s POV+

I woke up, I was still wearing my Odette outfit…

“I gotta look for Keito” I ran out of the bathroom and saw the Coterie with their black swan, Risako. I turned my attention to the dance floor where I saw Keito.

“’Oka-kun!” I shouted as Keito looked at me & ran away. I looked back at the coterie and Risako was gone… I ran after Keito in the direction he went too.

+Risako’s POV+

Sakiran after Keito and so did I. My plan was working perfectly though, I arrived at the place where I expected Keito would be..

“What’re you doing here alone Keito?” I asked as he looked at me “Why do you care Risako?!” he sternly asked me. “Keito, I swear. I’ve changed now. I’m not the same old Risako anymore.” I insisted as he sighed. I took a seat beside him as he told me what he saw.

“I see, I’m so sorry Keito.” I hugged him as he suddenly hugged back. I looked at him and pulled him into a kiss.

+Saki’s POV+

‘Why is that song still playing?! Where’s Keito?!’

Random questions ran through my head as I saw Keito & Risako, Lip-locking together. I gasped, I didn’t know why but my heart was broken.

Oh yeah, I know why. HE’S MY BOYFRIEND FOR GOD’S SAKE!

Shocked and sobbing, I ran to Daiki who was in the pond bridge. I ran to him and hugged him.
“Daiki, I’m so stupid. Why did I fall for Keito?! Why?!” I pounded his chest “Shush, don’t cry Saki.. I’m here for you” he hugged me in response.

+Risako’s POV+

I held Keito’s hand as we looked for Saki. Luckily, she was right where I wanted her. She’s with Daiki.
“Saki!” Keito called out to her as she looked at him. “Keito” Saki ran to him, she attempted to hug him. She failed.. Keito pushed her away.

“Saki, I’m breaking up with you” Keito said as he pulled me near him. “W-why?!” she asked him shocked. “Because you have Daiki don’t you? You don’t need Keito.” I said as I held on Keito’s arm.
“No.. Can’t be” Saki said as she ran back to Daiki.

+Saki’s POV+

‘the song ended.. I know why they played that symphony..’

I watched as Keito left with Risako in his arms. I flew to Daiki who kissed me.
“I’m sorry Saki” Daiki said “No it’s okay, Daiki; Risako & Keito make the perfect pair anyways” I said as he hugged me as I responded as well with a hug.

“I love you Daiki, I always have..” I told him as he smiled “I do too Saki.. I always have and I always will” Daiki said as we shared another kiss under the moonlight.

+Risako’s POV+

“Tsk, lovebirds” I said looking at them from a tree. “They do look perfect together don’t they?” Reina asked me as I nodded. “Yeap, Prince Daiki & Princess Saki” I responded with a chuckle.
“You know Risako that was pretty nice of you” Ai said as I grinned. “Well, as I told Keito. I’m different now” I said leaving them and heading on to Keito.

+Saki’s POV+

I waltzed with Daiki until the last song ended.. It came to my mind that somehow, Risako helped me with Daiki.
I gotta remember to thank her sometime.

“C’mon Saki.. It’s getting late” Daiki said as he held my hand “I’ll walk you home” he said as I excitedly ran outside as we began our walk.

As I reached my home, I saw a black car parked across the road.
“Bye Saki” Daiki said giving me a kiss “See you tomorrow” I said to him as I opened my door and before I went in. I looked at the black care once more.

‘Thank you Black Swan’

The car left after that.

Well, looks like the Symphony helped out a lot with my love life.

A few months passed since the prom, a few months since Daiki became my boyfriend and a few months that I haven’t seen the Coterie. Rumor is they disbanded after the prom… I guess I know why...

I walked across the bulletin board and saw a new post, probably it was posted this morning. It was the list of those who passed the exam to Tokyo College of Music. The post was listed by grade, so I started at the bottom.

‘WHAT THE HECK?!’

Number.4 read Sugaya Risako with an average of 97%.
“Well I guess she really changed after all” I looked at the first one and it was Keito. Go figure they’d want to attend the same university together.

“Hey Saki!” Daiki yelled from across the hall as he ran to me. “Hey Dai-chan” I said giving him a kiss on the cheek. “I got into Waseda University” Daiki said showing me the letter he had received from the school that he mentioned. “How about you Saki what school did you get into?” he asked as I pulled out an envelope out of my bag and his eyes widened in shock.

“A-Asia U-University?!” Daiki stuttered as I laughed. “Oh Daiki, you could’ve gotten in there too you know” I said as I exited the school as he ran after me.

“Smarty pants” Daiki said ruffling my hair as I saw Keito & Risako from the corner of my eye. I wasn’t at all shocked to see Keito, but Risako… She was, wearing modest clothing this time...

“Hey you two” she greeted us with a wave. I waved back and smiled at them. “ We heard that you got in Waseda university Daiki. Congratulations” Keito said as Daiki bowed “Thank you”.

“Congratulations Saki. You got in Asia University” Risako said as I smiled “Arigatou” and bowed. “You guys got in Tokyo College of Music. That’s great” I said as they both nodded. “I couldn’t have done it without you Saki” Risako said as I looked at her. “Why?’ I asked her. “Well for starters, you helped me change for the best” she responded as I nodded “That must explain it~” I said as Keito looked at his watch and poked Risako.

“Oh we have to go.” She said as I nodded in response. “Take care you two!” Keito said as they went out the campus. “They’re really sweet aren’t they?” I asked Daiki “Yeah, but we’re sweeter” Daiki responded hugging me.

Well, I guess that Symphony really helped somehow. Although I really don’t know how. I guess it did.
